The March Spittoon Fiction reading was a busy night, with readings by 12 authors. In addition to our normal readings, a special Tom Swift competition was held. A Tom Swift is a short, one-line joke that relies on a single word for the punchline. Two runners-up received a copy of Spittoon Literary Magazine, while the grand prize winner took home a book from Chris Warren’s bookshelf.
