Spittoon Monthly, our online fiction and poetry series, selects and publishes one exceptional set of poems or one short story every month. Please submit your fiction through the form below. If you have any questions, please direct them here.
Fiction submissions should be less than 4000 words. Original translations into English with permission of the author are also welcomed.
Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please notify us if your work has been accepted elsewhere. Please only send us one submission at a time.
We accept submissions all year. We will do our best to reply to submissions within two months.
Your work will remain yours; we ask only for first time publication and the right to archive your work on our website.
We are not able to compensate our writers at this time.
